Your Website Is Not Done

Two of the last three web presence audits I've performed surfaced the same crushing issue: the contact functionality on the website went nowhere.
In one case, the form worked fine, but messages landed in an inbox nobody monitored. In the other, the "email us" link had the wrong domain in the address. Anyone who tried to reach them got a delivery failure. See the screenshot below.

That second one came with a bonus problem: their website vendor had also neglected to update the mobile version of one of their main pages. The desktop version looked great, but pull it up on your phone and you'd find placeholder content everywhere. Fake 1-800 numbers, fake address, irrelevant template text still sitting there live for every mobile visitor to see.

Here's another: I found the contractor on Yelp, and their profile had the correct address, correct phone number, correct website, and wrong services. Not just a little off; another-universe wrong.

And one more: beautiful website design, frequent project updates, real and recent testimonials, an active Google Business Profile, a compelling founding story, and social media links that led straight to facebook.com and x.com rather than their actual profiles. A five-minute fix, once you know about it.

Right now, errors like these are telling prospects you're not legit, and they're telling Google and AI to send people somewhere else. Most are fast fixes once you know they exist, and finding them is exactly what the audit does.
But audits don't just turn up problems. I recently found a glowing testimonial for one contractor hiding on their competitor's Google Business Profile. The competitor had botched the job, the unhappy customer went to Google to warn people, and in doing so, named the contractor who had shown up and saved the day. Pure gold, just sitting there unclaimed! That's the kind of happy customer you reach out to about sharing their story on camera, and this contractor had no idea the review existed.

If you're in the market for a marketer, I'll do the audit for free. You get a clear picture of where your web presence stands, and you get a chance to evaluate how I think before committing to anything. If what we see isn't worth hiring me, no hard feelings, and you still walk away knowing exactly what to fix.
If you just want to check your own house and handle the fixes yourself, the audit is $175. I've trained AI to do some of the heavy lifting, which is how I can keep the price that low.
Either way, you'll know, because I audited.
Still not sure? You can see a couple of example audits on my previous blog post.
